Dice (Role-Playing Game Theory)
Description
Dice are used so that the outcome of a character's actions is not completely left to the arbitrariness of the players or the master, but is instead decided by chance.
Some feel that the DSA game system is too dice-heavy compared to other role-playing games, which is why there are also game groups that completely dispense with dice rolling and instead replace the success or failure of actions entirely with role-playing.
Many players have a smorgasbord of dice and cultivate a veritable superstition about which dice are best for which dice roll - even if mathematicians claim otherwise.
The use of loaded dice, on the other hand, is used to cheat in role-playing games.
The use of dice provides a basis for a diverse mathematical analysis of TDE.
There are also intra-Aventurian dice and dice games.
