Description
editThe Brotherhood of the Knowing, also known as the Black Guild, is an association of mages of the left hand commonly referred to as black mages. It is regulated by the Charter of Fasar. It is a rather loose association of black academies for whom independence is paramount. The principle is 'knowledge is power', and they know how to utilise it. Members of this mages' guild are often accused of unscrupulousness and subliminal malice, but they are mostly just individualists driven by a passion for free research. The aura of evil they often surround themselves with usually only serves to keep them undisturbed.
