The Marches is the second largest of the three regions which form the Bornland. It is the southernmost and westernmost region. It spans the length of the coast of the Sea of Pearls from Vallusa to the mouth of the Born. Naturally the borders are established by the Dragon Stones and the Born.
The land is called the Marches because it once formed the northern half of the Middenrealm's Margravate of Dragonstone.
