Description
[edit | edit source]The Shadif (Region) steppe is framed by Khôm, Eternans, Lizard Swamps, and Sea of Pearls. This is a transitional landscape. The closer you get to the desert, the drier, dustier, and rockier it becomes, and the less vegetation there is. The local people practise livestock farming and agriculture on the banks of the Szinto. The Shadif horses are particularly famous. The Beni Taresh and Beni Shadif clans roam the Shadif.
