Description
[edit | edit source]The Bosparanian Empire, also called Old Empire or Horasrealm, was the first civilized empire of Gyldenlandian settlers on Aventurian' soil.
It was named after its capital Bosparan by the river of Yaquir.
According to official sources the Bosparanian Empire emerged in 1492 b. FB through the founding by Horas, the first Emperor and Lightbringer. It ended with Bosparan's Fall which was caused by the Garethians after their victory in the Second Demon Battle.
Under the reign of the Horas Emperors the Bosparanian Empire became the most powerful human empire in Aventuria. It kept this position till its end. It controlled the whole continent with only a few exceptions (Maraskan, the north-west, the area of today's Bornland and the northern steppes).
It reached its vastest expansion during the 42nd year in the reign of Murak-Horas. The Twelvegods edict was enforced during the reign of Silem-Horas.
The Middenrealm took its place as the most powerful empire on the continent. Bosparan was in ruins for a long time and also infamous because of the demon-pacts of Fran-Horas and Hela-Horas.
In more recent times the Horasian Empire strived after the heritage of the Bosparanian Empire.
